EVER - BEST MUFFINS 
1 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar, lightly packed
2 tbsp. molasses
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. natural bran
2 tsp. baking powder
2 3/4 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 1/2 c. raisins
2 c. buttermilk, shake before pouring
2 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs, well beaten

Cream butter and sugar together; add molasses, salt, bran, flour, and baking powder. Stir in nuts and raisins. In separate bowl, stir soda in buttermilk; add to dry ingredients and stir until all moist. Fold in eggs. Cook in preheated 375 degree oven for 20 minutes. 2 1/2 to 3 dozen.
