1 c. butter
2 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cocoa
1 c. hot water
2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sour milk (2 tsp. vinegar)
2 1/2 c. flour

Mix cocoa, hot water and soda separately. Add rest of ingredients and beat to blend. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes in 9 x 13 inch greased and floured pan.
