MAMAW COOK'S POUND CAKE | |
1 stick butter 1 c. Crisco 1 c. milk 3 c. sugar 5 eggs 1/2 tsp. baking powder 3 1/2 c. plain flour 1 lg. tbsp. butter flavoring Cream butter, Crisco and sugar together. Add eggs one at a time. Beat until creamy. Add flour and baking powder alternately with milk. Add butter flavoring. Stir and pour into tube pan. Bake at 325 for 1 hour. Cool 30 minutes in pan. Serve with fruit if you like. |
