CARAMEL CORN 
2 c. brown sugar
2 sticks butter
1/2 c. white syrup
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
6 qts. popcorn, popped
1 tsp. butter flavoring

Combine sugar, butter and white syrup. Cook six minutes over medium heat. Remove from stove and add remaining ingredients. Pour over popcorn slowly, coating well. Put on two cookie sheets and bake at 225 degrees for one hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
