3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. raisins
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. applesauce
2 eggs

Sift dry ingredients together. Cream thoroughly, shortening, sugar, and peanut butter. Stir together applesauce, vanilla, eggs. Add alternately the dry ingredients with the creamed mixture. Add raisins. Drop by spoonful. Bake at 350 degrees about 8 to 10 minutes.
