BAKED CHICKEN PARMESAN 
1 (2 1/2 - 3 lb.) fryer, cut into pieces
1/8 tsp. thyme
Freshly ground black pepper to taste
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. paprika
1/3 c. water
1 tsp. minced parsley
1/3 c. finely ground bread crumbs
1 tbsp. oil
1/4 c. butter, melted
1/3 c. Marsala wine

In a brown paper bag place seasonings, parsley and crumbs. Coat chicken by shaking a few pieces at a time in the bag. Oil a shallow roasting pan, pour in the water and arrange the chicken pieces. Sprinkle with oil and melted butter. Bake at 350 degrees, uncovered for 30 minutes. Pour wine over chicken. Lower heat to 325 degrees and bake 10 minutes. Makes 4 servings.
