GERMAN APPLE CAKE 
2 lg. eggs
1 c. vegetable oil
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda dissolved in 1 1/2 tsp. water
2 c. flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. nuts, walnuts
4 c. peeled apples, sliced thin

Beat eggs with oil until foamy. Add sugar, soda (dissolved in water), flour, cinnamon, salt and vanilla.

NOTE: Batter will be thick.

Fold in nuts and apples.

CREAM CHEESE FROSTING (TOP ONLY):

3 oz. cream cheese
1 c. powdered sugar
1/4 c. butter

Mix together.
