PEANUT BUTTER CUPCAKES 
1/3 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
6 tbsp. creamy peanut butter
2 eggs
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 c. sifted flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream shortening with the 1 cup brown sugar, add peanut butter and mix well. Add eggs with the 1/2 cup sugar, milk, dry ingredients and vanilla. Beat well. Fill greased or paper-lined cupcake tins half full and bake 20 to 25 minutes in 350 degree oven. Frost with white frosting to which you have added 1 tablespoon peanut butter.
