TEA CAKES 
2 sticks butter, soft
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 c. Wesson oil
1 tsp. vanilla
4 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, sift before measuring
1 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar

Cream together the butter, eggs and sugar. Set aside. Sift together the dry ingredients. Add to sugar mixture along with remaining ingredients and mix well. Make into small balls, put on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper. Bake at 350 degrees for about 12 minutes or until light brown. Do not grease cookie sheets.
