RUSSIAN TEA CAKES | |
1 c. soft butter 1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 2 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1 c. chopped nuts, or less Mix butter, sugar and vanilla thoroughly. Blend flour and salt; stir into first mixture. Mix in nuts; chill dough. Roll into one inch balls and place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 400 degrees 10-12 minutes or until bottom starts to brown. While cookies are still warm, roll in powdered sugar and cool. Roll in powdered sugar again. |
