ORANGE-NUT POUND CAKE 
1 3/4 c. sugar
1 c. Crisco
5 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
5 tbsp. orange juice
2 c. self-rising flour
1 c. chopped nuts

Mix sugar and Crisco until creamy; add eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla and orange juice. Mix well and then add flour and nuts. Bake in tube pan at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

ICING:

1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. orange juice

Bring to boil and boil for 3 to 4 minutes. Pour over cake immediately after removing from oven. Leave in pan until mixture soaks into cake.
