CHOCOLATE CRINKLES 
2 c. plus 2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 3/4 c. granulated sugar
3 lg. eggs
4 sq. unsweetened chocolate (1 oz. each), melted
1/2 c. confectioners' sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. butter (room temp.)
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix flour, baking powder and salt. In a large bowl beat butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs until mixture is pale yellow, then vanilla and chocolate until blended. Gradually add flour mixture. Refrigerate 1 hour.

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease cookie sheet. Shape into balls and roll in confectioners' sugar. Bake 12 minutes until tops are cracked. Makes 4 1/2 dozen.
