BARBECUED SPARERIBS 
2 lb. spareribs
1/2 c. light molasses
1/2 c. catsup
1 minced clove garlic
1/2 c. chopped onion
3 whole cloves
Juice of 1 orange
4 narrow strips of orange rind, diced
1 tbsp. salad oil
1/2 tsp. prepared mustard
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire
1/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce

Bake at 325 degrees. Place spareribs in shallow pan, cover. Roast 1/2 hour. Pour off fat and roast 1/2 hour longer. Meanwhile make sauce. Combine all ingredients and boil 5 minutes. Pour excess fat from ribs. Cover ribs with sauce. Increase heat to 400 degrees. Roast spareribs, uncovered, basting often for 45 minutes until very brown and glazed.
