MELTING MOMENTS 
5 tbsp. lard
6 tbsp. sugar
1 egg
1 1/4 c. self rising flour
Few drops vanilla extract
Crushed cornflakes or dried coconut

Cream the fat and sugar together until light and fluffy, then add the egg and beat well. Fold in the flour and vanilla extract. Roll the mixture into small balls the size of walnuts, then roll in crushed cornflakes (or dried coconut), place on a greased baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes only at 375 degrees.
