1 lg. can pork & beans 16 oz. can kidney beans 16 oz. can lima beans 16 oz. can garbanzo beans 1/2 lb. bacon, diced (or ham) 4 med. onions, diced 3/4 c. brown sugar 1/4 c. molasses (Grandmas) 2 tsp. dry mustard 1/2 c. ketchup 1/2 c. vinegar Garlic powder Empty pork and beans into a heavy baking dish. Drain the 3 cans of beans and add to the dish. Saute the bacon and onions until lightly browned and add to beans. Make a sauce of the brown sugar, molasses, dry mustard, ketchup, vinegar, and garlic powder. Simmer together 20 minutes. Pour over bean mixture and mix well. Bake at 350 degrees for 1-2 hours. |
