1 (1 lb.) box lasagne pasta 1 1/2 lb. ground beef 1 lb. hot ground pork sausage Freshly ground pepper (optional) 1 tbsp. oregano 4 (8 oz.) cans sauce Arturo 2 (16 oz.) cans spaghetti sauce 1 lb. mushrooms sliced and sauteed 1 lb. fresh Ricotta cheese (or 1 pt. cottage cheese) 2 (6 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese 2 (6 oz.) pkg. Provolone cheese 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese Cook lasagne pasta according to package directions. Brown beef and sausage together. Discard any excess fat. season with pepper and oregano. Line bottom of greased large rectangular casserole with drained pasta. Cover with portion of meat mixture, then part of mixture of sauce Arturo and spaghetti sauce. Cover with Ricotta or cottage cheese and Parmesan cheese. Repeat layers ending with Mozzarella cheese. Cover and bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes. Uncover and bake for 10 to 15 minutes until bubbly. |
