APPLE PUDDING 
1 c. flour
1 egg
1/4 c. butter
2 1/4 c. fresh apples, chopped
1 tsp. nutmeg (optional)
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. nuts
1 tsp. cinnamon

Cream together sugar and butter. Add egg and apples to mixture. Combine dry ingredients, then add to apple mixture. Bake in a 9x13-inch greased pan at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes.

1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. lemon juice
Dash of nutmeg
1 c. boiling water
1 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. butter
Dash of salt

Combine sugar and cornstarch with boiling water and dash of salt. Boil until thickened and clear. Beat in butter, lemon juice and nutmeg. Top apple pudding with lemon sauce.
