OATMEAL MAPLE DROP COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
1 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. rolled oats
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 c. maple syrup
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. milk
1/2 c. raisins

Cream together the butter and maple syrup in a large bowl. Add the remaining ingredients. Mix well. The batter will be stiff. Drop by tablespoon onto greased cookie sheets. Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for 12 to 15 minutes. Remove the cookies to wire racks; cool. Makes 36 to 42 cookies.
