BRAN MUFFINS 
1 1/2 c. bran
1 c. whole wheat flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking power
3/4 c. milk
1/2 c. molasses or honey
2 tbsp. oil
1 egg, beaten

Stir together bran, flour, soda and baking powder; set aside. Blend milk, molasses, oil and egg; add to dry ingredients and stir just until moistened. Spoon into greased muffin cups and bake in preheated 400 degree oven for 15 minutes. Makes 12 or more.

Note: Fruit, nuts or seeds may be added.
