L. S. AYRES TEA ROOM BAR-B-QUE | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 tbsp. shortening 1 large onion, chopped (about 7 tbsp.) 2 tbsp. sugar 3/4 cup ketchup (Hunts) 2 tbsp. dry mustard 1 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. vinegar 1 green pepper, chopped (about 8 tbsp.) Brown meat in shortening until crumbly. Combine remaining ingredients and stir into browned meat. Cover and simmer slowly for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Watch carefully to prevent burning. Serve on toasted buns. |
