MIDGIE'S ICE BOX COOKIES 
1 c. butter, softened
3 eggs
3 1/2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugars; add eggs one at a time and beat until fluffy. Sift dry ingredients together and add gradually to mixture. Add vanilla and nuts. Roll in small logs; chill or freeze. Slice and bake as needed. Bake at 350 degrees for about 8 minutes. This recipe was given to us by Mark's mother, who was given the recipe by her mother.
