CHICKEN MACADAMIA | |
3 oz. jar macadamia nuts 2 tbsp. butter 2 beaten eggs 2 tbsp. peanut oil 2 tbsp. soy sauce 1" ginger root minced or 1 tsp. ginger powder 1 med. onion, minced 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 tbsp. brandy 1/4 c. cold water 1/2 c. all-purpose flour 1/4 c. cornstarch 1. Place nuts in shallow pan with the butter, baking at 350 degrees until light brown, 10 minutes. 2. Place remaining ingredients in blender. Soak chicken pieces in batter for 20 minutes or more. 3. Cook in oil at 350 degrees until medium brown on both sides. |
