ZUCCHINI SQUARES 
CRUST:

4 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. butter, butter, or buttery Crisco

Combine and crumble, reserve 2 cups. Press remainder in jelly roll pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes.

FILLING:

6 c. peeled & cored zucchini or apples, cut in chunks
2/3 c. Realemon juice
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Cook over medium heat for about 10 to 15 minutes. Add 1/2 cup of reserved crust mixture to thickened filling. Spread on baked crust. Add 1 teaspoon cinnamon to remaining 1 1/2 cup of reserved mixture. Sprinkle on top of filling. Bake at 325 degrees for additional 20 minutes or until crust browns.
