MOIST CHOCOLATE CAKE 
Mix one at a time and beat in order:

2 sticks butter
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs (extra lg.)
1 c. sour milk (7/8 c. milk and 1/8 c. vinegar)

Add:

2 1/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. cocoa
1/4 tsp. salt

When well mixed add 1 cup boiling water. The batter should be thin. Bake at 350 degrees in three 8 inch cake pans for approximately 30 minutes. Can also be used for cupcakes - makes 30 to 36 (bake these for approximately 25 minutes). Do not overcook! Remove when cake bounces back to touch.
