QUICKY MOIST CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1 stick butter
3 1/2 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. water
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. buttermilk

Heat and boil slightly together butter, cocoa, Crisco and water. Add to flour and sugar and mix well. Add eggs, salt, soda, vanilla and buttermilk. Mix well and pour into greased jelly roll pan. Bake 20 minutes at 400 degrees. Frost directly from oven.

FROSTING:

1 stick butter
Dash of salt
3 1/2 tbsp. cocoa
1/3 c. milk
1 lb. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Boil together butter, salt, cocoa and milk until melted. Add powdered sugar, vanilla and nuts. Mix well. Put frosting on warm cake.
