4 c. flour
4 tsp. baking soda
1 1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 - 1 c. chopped nuts
2 tbsp. cocoa (optional)
1 c. oil
2 c. sugar
3 c. unsweetened applesauce, heated
Chocolate chips (optional)

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Makes a very large thick cake or can make 2 pans of bars.
