BANANA SPLIT CAKE 
1 box vanilla wafers
3 1/4 sticks butter (melt 1 1/4 sticks)
2 c. confectioners' sugar
2 eggs
3 tsp. vanilla
3 to 4 bananas
1 lg. can crushed pineapple, drained
1 container Cool Whip
Chopped walnuts
Maraschino cherries, cut in 1/2's

Crush up box of vanilla wafers (like graham cracker crumbs) and add 1 1/4 sticks melted butter. Pat into bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan.

In bowl mix 2 cups 10x sugar, 2 sticks butter, softened, 2 eggs and vanilla until well blended. Spread over crust. Slice bananas to cover filling, spoon on pineapple. Cover with Cool Whip. Sprinkle with nuts and dot with cherry halves. Refrigerate.
