CARAMEL CORN | |
6 to 8 qts. popped corn (roaster full) 2 c. brown sugar 1 c. butter 1 tsp. salt 1/2 c. white syrup 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 tsp. baking soda After popping corn, cook above ingredients except vanilla and soda until boiling for 5 minutes (stirring). Remove from heat, add vanilla, stir, add baking soda, stir well. Pour over corn. Bake 1 hour at 250 degrees. Stir every 15 minutes. Turn out on waxpaper. Break up. |
