KEEMA AND MATAR PULAO | |
1 1/2 c. rice 1 1/2 lb. ground chuck 1 1/2 lg. onions 1 tsp. ginger powder 1 or 2 cloves garlic 8 whole cloves Frozen peas 4 oz. oil 3 tsp. garan masala 8 tbsp. yogurt 2 tsp. cumin seed Salt to taste Cook rice separately. Grind onion and garlic, mix in ginger. In large pan, heat oil and add cumin seed and cloves. When cloves swell, add ground onion paste and fry over low heat. Add minced meat and fry add yogurt and fry meat to rich brown. Add peas, simmer to done. Add rice, amount as desired, pot in dish, sprinkle with garan masala. Cover and cook for 20 minutes. |
