BAKED INDIAN PUDDING | |
Milk 1/3 c. minute Tapioca 1/4 c. yellow cornmeal 1 c. molasses 2 tbsp. butter (melted) 1 1/2 c. cold milk Scald 1 quart milk and sprinkle into it 1/3 cup minute Tapioca and 1/4 cup yellow cornmeal. Stir and cook about 5 minutes or until Tapioca becomes transparent. Remove and add 1 cup molasses, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 2 tablespoons butter. Stir until mixed. Pour into a greased baking dish. Add 1 1/2 cups cold milk. DO NOT STIR. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. |
