BEEF CURRY 
1 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 lb. round beef, cut in cubes
1/4 c. salad oil
2 c. sliced onion
1/2 clove garlic
1 tsp. curry powder
1 beef bouillon cube
1 c. boiling water
1/2 c. canned tomato juice

Combine flour, salt, and pepper. Roll beef in this. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in Dutch oven, brown meat. Add 2 tablespoons oil, onions, garlic and saute lightly; sprinkle curry powder over this, add bouillon cube and pour water over the mixture. Simmer 1 1/4 hours. Add tomato juice.

Serve over cooked rice topped with the following optional condiments available, at the table, in small bowls: Peanuts Pineapple Bacon pieces Coconut Raisins Bananas

Serves 4 people.
