PINEAPPLE CASSEROLE | |
3/4 stick butter 5 slices bread (cubed) (Pepperidge Farm or Arnold works best!) 1 lg. can crushed pineapple with juice 3/4 c. sugar 4 eggs Beat the eggs separately. Mix all ingredients then add eggs. Bake 1 hour at 375 degrees in 8x8 Pyrex loaf pan. If using regular bread let the cubed bread stand out to get a crustier texture or casserole will lack sufficient texture. Great with ham dinner! |
