CHINESE STYLE VEGETABLE MEDLEY 
1 sm. head green cabbage
1 tbsp. shortening
2/3 c. chopped onions
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 c. thin diagonal sliced celery
1 tsp. salt
1 med. green pepper, cut into thin diagonal slices

Shred cabbage. Heat shortening in skillet. Add vegetables and stir. Cover. Steam for 5 minutes or until crisp tender, stirring several times. Add salt and pepper. If desired, stir in 1 tablespoons soy sauce.
