APPLESAUCE CAKE 
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp. allspice
1 1/2 c. applesauce
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Cream butter. Gradually add sugar, creaming until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time beating well after each addition. Sift together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice. Add flour mixture alternately with applesauce to creamed mixture. Stir in raisins and pecans. Turn batter into greased and lightly floured 9x13-inch pan.

Bake at 350°F or about 45 minutes or until done. Cool in pan.
