BANANA BRAN BREAD 
2 1/2 c. flour
3/4 c. white sugar
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. Bran Chex cereal
1/3 c. nuts or raisins
2 eggs
1/4 c. vegetable oil
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. banana, thinly sliced

Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and soda. Crush Bran Chex into fine crumbs. Stir into flour mixture. Beat eggs, oil, milk and vanilla until mixed. Add bananas. Beat until smooth. Pour over dry ingredients. Stir just until moistened. Turn into 9 x 5 x 3 inch pan. Grease and dust with wheat germ for added nutrition. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes or until tester inserted into center comes out clean. Let cool 15 minutes before removing from pan.
