1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 1/2 c. toasted Cheerios cereal
1/2 c. candy coated chocolate pieces

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add egg and vanilla; beat until fluffy. Stir in flour and baking soda; mix well. Add Cheerios and chocolate pieces just until blended.

Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased baking sheet 2 inches apart. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly brown - remove from pan. Cool. Makes about 4 dozen.
