CHEDDAR QUICK BREAD 
3 c. flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. butter
2 c. (8 oz.) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1 1/4 c. milk
2 eggs, slightly beaten

Combine dry ingredients. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in cheese. Combine milk and eggs. Add milk and egg mixture to cheese mixture, mixing just until moistened. Grease and flour 2 small loaf pans.

Spoon mixture into pans until 2/3 full. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour. Turn out of pan immediately. Great sliced and served with ham salad!
