BAKED PORK CHOPS 
6 or 8 loin pork chops
Salt and pepper

Brown chops in butter and oil, remove from skillet. In same pan make gravy of: 1 can cream of celery soup 1/3 c. white wine 1 lg. onion, chopped

Bring gravy to a simmer and pour over browned chops in covered dish or pan. Bake in 300 degree oven 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Serve over steamed rice or wild rice
