BARBECUED RIBS 
3 to 4 lbs. pork spareribs
2 whole onions, sliced
1/2 c. to 1 c. catsup
1 1/2 tsp. Tabasco sauce
1/8 tsp. to 1/4 tsp. chili powder
1 c. water

Use heavy pot with cover. Put half spareribs in the bottom of the pot. Cover with layer of onions. Combine catsup, Tabasco, salt, chili powder and water and pour half sauce over the meat. Add another layer of ribs, sliced onions and sauce. Cover and bake 2 or more hours, at 350 degrees depending on doneness. Makes 6 servings.
