LAYERED STRAWBERRY JELLO SALAD | |
2 pkg. strawberry Jello 1 can (1 lb. 4 oz.) crushed pineapple 2 crushed bananas 1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional) 1 qt. crushed strawberries or 2 (10 oz.) frozen strawberries 1 c. boiling water 1 pt. sour cream Dissolve Jello in water. Add strawberries, bananas, nuts and pineapple. Put 1/2 mixture in 13x9 inch pan and let stand until firm. Spread sour cream over this. Then add rest of Jello mixture. Refrigerate until cold and firm. This recipe has been made at every family gathering in my home since I was in elementary school. |
