VENEZUELAN POOR MAN'S FILLET MIGNON | |
1/4 c. soft bread crumbs 1/4 c. evaporated milk 1 tbsp. onion, chopped fine 1 1/4 lb. ground beef 2 tbsp. ketchup 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper Soak bread crumbs in milk until soft. Add remaining ingredients except bacon and mix thoroughly. Shape into 8 patties about 3 inch in diameter. Wrap each with a slice of bacon around sides. Fasten with several toothpicks. Heat ungreased frying pan over medium heat for 3 minutes; reduce heat to low. Place patties in pan brown on both sides. Remove and place in baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes until bacon is crisp. |
