MICROWAVE CHICKEN BREASTS
1/4 c. butter
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. salt
2 whole chicken breasts (1 lb. each), halved
1/4 c. white wine or water

1. Place butter in 2 quart glass baking dish.

2. Microwave on 3/4 power about 1 minute or until melted. Add seasoning to butter; mix well. Roll chicken breasts in seasoned butter. Place skin side down and thick edges toward outside, in buttered baking dish. Cover with plastic wrap.

3. Microwave on 3/4 power for 15 minutes. Turn chicken over; pour wine over all, and continue cooking on 3/4 power for 15 minutes or until tender when poked with a fork. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. Serves 4.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
