BAKED LASAGNA 
1 lb. ground beef
1 onion, diced
2 med. cloves garlic
3 tbsp. minced parsley
1 tbsp. dried oregano
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
14 oz. can tomatoes
12 oz. can tomato paste
6 qt. boiling water
1 tbsp. salt per quart
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 lb. noodles
1 lb. mozzarella cheese
12 oz. pkg. cottage cheese
Parmesan cheese

Combine ground beef, onion and garlic. Cook until beef browns. Stir, cover and simmer 40 minutes. Add salt and olive oil to 6 quarts water. Bring to boil. Add noodles and cook approximately 25 minutes. Drain, rinse in cold water and separate. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Arrange in layers in a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish. Begin with layer of noodles. Alternate meat sauce, mozzarella cheese, cottage cheese, ending with meat sauce. Place noodles between each layer. Top with Parmesan. Bake 20 minutes.
