HOT WATER CORNBREAD 
2 c. cornmeal
1/2 tsp. salt
4 c. boiling water
3 tbsp. flour
1/3 c. oil (vegetable)

Mix corn meal, flour, and salt. Add boiling water to dry ingredients as needed, until stiff. Heat 1/2 of oil, add to corn meal mixture. Spoon spread mixture into hot oil in frying pan. Turn when brown. Ready in about 12-15 minutes. Makes 4 servings.
