AIKEN CHOCOLATE SAUCE 
SINGLE:

1 c. sugar
1 sq. baking chocolate
6 tbsp. water
1 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. light Karo syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
Pinch of salt

DOUBLE:

2 c. sugar
2 sqs. baking chocolate
12 tbsp. water or 3/4 c.
2 tbsp. butter
6 tbsp. Karo syrup
2 tsp. vanilla
Big pinch of salt

In large heavy saucepan, heat sugar, water, chocolate and butter. Stir occasionally. Bring to a boil. Add Karo syrup and boil for 5 minutes, stirring down. Take off heat and add vanilla. Cool. Serve over ice cream. Store in glass container in refrigerator.
