CHOCOLATE SALAD DRESSING CAKE 
2 c. salad dressing
1 c. sugar

Beat together. Add 8 tablespoons cocoa, beat again. Mix:

2 c. water with 4 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla

Add to above. Beat again. Add:

4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt

Beat again. Pour into a 9 x 13 inch greased and floured pan. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees or until cake springs back when touched with finger. Frost with White Sauce Frosting.

WHITE SAUCE FROSTING:

1 c. milk
5 tbsp. flour
1 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 c. Spry or Crisco

Put milk in saucepan. Add flour. Cook and stir until thick. Let cool.

Mix sugar, butter and Spry until creamy. Add cooled white sauce. Beat until fluffy. Good on any cake.
