PAPAYA BREAD 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1 c. mashed papaya
1/4 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 c. raisins
1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. ginger

Cream sugar and butter until light. Add eggs and beat until fluffy. Add papaya, nuts, raisins and mix.

Sift dry ingredients together and add to mixture.

Pour into a paper-lined loaf pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 50 minutes.

This batter may be baked in muffin pans. Reduce baking time to 25 minutes.
