TACO BURGERS | |
1 egg, beaten 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs 1 envelope taco seasoning mix 1 can bean with bacon soup, undiluted 2 medium tomatoes, chopped 1 1/2 c. Frito corn chips, broken 1/4 c. milk 1/3 c. onion, finely chopped 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef 1/2 c. water 1 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded In bowl, combine the egg, milk, bread crumbs, onion and taco seasoning mix. Add beef and mix well. Shape into 6 patties. In large lightly greased skillet, brown the patties on both sides. Mix soup and the 1/2 cup water; spoon over meat. Cover; cook over low heat 15 minutes. Top with tomatoes and cheese; heat, covered 3 minutes longer. Serve with broken corn chips. Makes 6 servings. |
