1 c. Quaker Oats (quick)
1 1/4 c. boiling water
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/3 tsp. salt
Scant tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla

Pour boiling water over oats and let cool. Cream together sugars, butter, and eggs, then add oats mixture and mix well. Add remaining ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or more until it pulls away from pan.
