CHOCOLATE MACAROONS 
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. butter
2 c. sugar
Pinch of salt
3 c. quick rolled oats
1 c. coconut
2 tsp. (heaping) cocoa

Melt butter, milk and sugar in saucepan; add remaining ingredients. Bring to boil, stirring constantly. Boil 2 minutes. Drop from teaspoon on lightly greased cookie sheet or wax paper. Refrigerate until firm. Add nuts if desired.
